BEGINNER STAINED GLASS - COPPER FOIL CONSTRUCTION

                                                                                          

 

Welcome to the fun and challenging world of stained glass!

 

In this introductory course, you will experience a myriad of colours

and textures and become enlightened to the endless possibilities of

stained glass. Learn the basics of stained glass copper foil

construction and create a colourful glass panel approximately

1 square foot.

 

Students will learn glass pattern preparation, basic glass knowledge

and selection, pattern placement, glass scoring (cutting), breaking,

grinding, foiling, soldering and basic framing.

 

All materials and designs are included.

NO TOOLS TO BUY OR EXTRA SUPPLY CHARGES!!

 

NOTE: Please bring comfortable shoes (no open toes) and an apron or workshirt to protect clothing.

 

Classes are held one day or evening per week for 4 consecutive weeks.

Come and learn the art of stained glass - boot camp style!! Participants will learn the copper foil method of construction OR the lead came construction, all in one week. See course descriptions above.

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED STAINED GLASS CONSTRUCTION

                                                                                               

 

 

We welcome back our beginner students, hobbyists needing to refresh their skills or anyone wishing to take advantage of our expertise. Do you have a project that you've always wanted to challenge, but felt it was a bit ambitious or maybe you don't have the space to construct it? The is definitely the course for you!

 

Students will gain confidence and increase their skill level by taking on a challenging project of their choice. This class allows more time with the tools as we work with you to create that beautiful project you've always wanted to take on but just needed some direction. We turn your ideas into a workable design or feel free to browse our pattern books and previous custom work for project ideas.
